Monday’s solar eclipse was a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon that completely swept the nation into a hunt for “special viewing glasses” and social feeds blowing up with pictures of the sun.
Whether people were in the path of totality, or simply in an outskirt state that just got a little darker as the moon passed perfectly in front of the sun, there was plenty to talk about.
Some were intrigued by the crescent-shaped shadows the eclipse cast onto the sidewalk and other objects, while others were simply just concerned with getting a picture of their dog looking cute, wearing the glasses.
Whatever the case, it was a rare experience that had everyone sharing what they had the pleasure of seeing.
Some onlookers from Wilmington, North Carolina, captured this eclipse photo of the sun next to a cloud formation that some believe to resemble a human face. Not just any face, but the face of Jesus.
