Mom’s Special Letter From Santa for First Responders Who Work on Christmas Goes Viral

Stephanie says that no matter how “hectic” the holiday season can get, these kids of military and first responder families “push through” and share their parent(s) with everyone else.

“Always remember, Christmas isn’t about a box on the calendar, but the feeling we keep in our hearts,” Santa writes. “Thank you for being such great children, and sharing your moms and dads with us all when we need them the most.”

After first posting the letter to Facebook on December 11th, Stephanie was inundated with requests for other letters just like this one. She’s since created a letter for kids of medical professionals, pilots and flight crews, divorced families, and even a general letter that can be used for anyone else who may find themselves or a spouse working on Christmas day.

In response to her popular letters going viral, NORAD, the popular Santa tracker even put out a special announcement about Christmas, saying that while NORAD does not report on these “out of the ordinary” circumstances, they are no less special than the date of December 24th.

Stephanie says she hopes the letters are a blessing to others who can benefit from them this holiday season.
