She’s since created a letter for kids of medical professionals, pilots and flight crews, divorced families, and even a general letter that can be used for anyone else who may find themselves or a spouse working on Christmas day.

In response to her popular letters going viral, NORAD, the popular Santa tracker even put out a special announcement about Christmas, saying that while NORAD does not report on these “out of the ordinary” circumstances, they are no less special than the date of December 24th.
