Teen’s Duet With Down Syndrome Brother Is the Most Heart-Melting Thing You’ll See All Day

One in every 700 people is born with Down syndrome. According to the National Down Syndrome Society, that’s nearly 6,000 babies every year.

Of course, if you’ve ever met someone with Down syndrome, your life is probably brighter because of them. It’s no secret that they are some of the most beautiful souls, and their unconditional joy, happiness and affectionate love is just what this world needs.

In honor of World Down Syndrome Day, it was only fitting that we share this endearing video that brought us to tears!

Leah Kirwan has the voice of an angel. The teen from Carlingford, Ireland, uses Facebook to post videos of cover songs she loves to sing.

One of her videos quickly went viral with over 2.5 million views—and for all the right reasons! Leah’s brother, Noah, has Down syndrome, and his favorite song is “Titanium” by David Guetta and Sia.

The brother-sister duo did their own cover version of the song, and the Internet went wild. Leah’s beautiful voice carries the song, while Noah’s enthusiasm lights up the screen. He sings along as his sister leads, and there is literally nothing more beautiful than watching these siblings collaborate.

Many people perceive Noah’s condition as a hindrance, but not this vibrant teen:

“When I meet new people and tell them my brother has Down Syndrome most of them react with: “Oh I’m so sorry to hear that.” Please don’t be! I’m 25 years now and I don’t know life any other way. Sure it’s been hard sometimes, but he is my brother and I love him to the moon and back. I wouldn’t be without him. He is my biggest fan and my best friend—that’s the way it’s always been. He has taught me so many things and has a huge impact on the person I’m today.”

Noah is just another reminder that while some people have Down syndrome, there is NOTHING Down about it!

Check out Noah and Leah’s heartwarming duet below!

Thought I’d do a duet with my favourite little man singing his favourite song, Titanium🙈💖 Enjoy!
