Couple Hits It Off as Soon as They Meet—Then His Grandma Pulls Out a Newspaper Clipping from 20 Years Ago

Birthdays are some of the most special days of the year. If you’re anything like me, you have certain birthdays scribed into your mind (the people who are closest to you) and you shamelessly rely on Facebook to remind you of the rest.

It’s estimated that each of us shares our birthday with more than 19 million people worldwide. Y’all, I can’t even picture what 19 million people looks like, but holy cow, what a party.

Of course, if you’ve ever met someone who shares your birthday, you probably know the immediate bond that’s created when you discover your mutual identity.

It’s just one of the many things that newlyweds Jessica and Aaron Bairos bonded over when they first started dating nine years ago.

Having met through mutual friends, the couple from Taunton, Massachusetts, immediately hit it off.

“She brings out the best in me,” Aaron says. “I think we balance each other out quite well.”

It wasn’t long after they started dating that the two realized they had been born only two hours apart on the same day, in the same year: April 28, 1990.

That Friday got freakier when they learned they were also born that day at the same Massachusetts hospital.

But the story doesn’t stop there. After clueing their parents into the fun birthday “coincidence,” Aaron’s mother revealed that she remembered Jessica’s mother from the hospital.

“His mom remembers saying hi to my mom,” Jessica says.

Then came this bombshell: Jessica’s grandmother still had the newspaper clipping with her birth announcement from April 28, 1990. Just below Jessica’s name, is Aaron’s.

They were the only two babies born in the area that day.

They’re truly a match made in heaven, with a love story that’s 27 years in the making.
