What is their purpose in life if not to get their sisters riled up, grossed out and scared to pieces with whoopee cushions, homemade slime creations—and totally terrifying engagement photos.

Neither did we.

But thanks to Buzzfeed’s Jesse McLaren, Pennywise engagement shoots are now a thing…and the Internet is finding it equal parts hysterical and horrifying.

“My sister asked me to shoot her engagement pics so I hid Pennywise the Clown in every photo,” Jesse tweeted earlier this week. “Countdown until she notices.”

How’s that for an uninvited wedding guest to haunt you in your dreams?

As if the movie It didn’t scare the pants off of you enough, how about a permanent memento of this creepy excuse for a clown in EVERY snapshot?

Lucky for us Internet stalkers awaiting her reaction, the quick-witted bride caught on to the not-so-subtle Photoshop job immediately, and her response proves she may just be the coolest sister on the planet.

“On one hand, I really hope that you get the help you need,” she replied. “On the other…I totally want to use these.”

I don’t know about you, but I probably would’ve LOST it if I found America’s scariest clown embedded in my engagement pics. Kudos to this sister for her killer sense of humor and for owning this brotherly prank like a champ.

Looks like Pennywise didn’t get the last laugh after all.
