Adele Leaves London Breathless With Tearful Tribute to Brussels: “I Think They Heard Us”

Last night, Adele was getting ready to wrap up her final sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena, when the she paused to pay tribute to Brussels.

The singer said, “This is ‘Make You Feel My Love’…and this is for Brussels tonight.”

While Adele is physically tough to spot in the clips filmed by fans, you can certainly feel every drop of emotion in her voice as she pours her heart out for Brussels amidst the ocean of waving lights.

The original version of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ was penned by Bob Dylan and sang by Billy Joel.

While the well-known love song has been covered by many artists since, Adele’s powerful rendition sang in solidarity with Brussels will surely resonate with the world for years to come.

“I don’t think I’ve ever actually been so moved in my life at one of my shows,” Adele announced to the audience when she finished the song. “It was just so beautiful. Thank you very much for doing that. … I think they heard us.”
