As the outbreak of a virus sweeps the world, many have shifted from an attitude of panic and fear to one of praise and worship. There’s nothing quite like a crisis that brings people to their knees, and the spread of COVID-19 is a primary example.

In Brazil, one citizen, Braulia I. Ribeiro, captured an awe-inspiring display of Brazilians in quarantine singing the Christian hymn “Because He Lives, I Can Face Tomorrow.”

As they belt out this goosebump-raising rendition of the song in worship and surrender, we’re reminded that our hope resides in Christ alone:

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”~Matthew 6:34
