“This life really is not going to amount to a hill of beans”: Great Grandma Goes Viral Discussing Death and Life In Heaven

A Texas woman, referred to as Nanny, has gone viral since her great grandson created a TikTok account for her. And for good reason. The great grandma goes viral as she shares her refreshing take on death in these surprisingly heartwarming videos.

Great Grandma Goes Viral With Her Thoughts on Life and Death

Nannyfayeandme is her handle, and this social media influencer is probably at least 80 years older than most of the trending budding influencers out there.

She’s Nanny Faye from Texas and she was born in 1925. The great grandma with more than 215,000 followers and 1.7 million likes rose to stardom not over her own accord, but because her great grandson made a TikTok channel with the intention of sharing her sweet, insightful, and heartwarming thoughts and stories.

And this youngster, as Nanny might call him, certainly had an idea that took off, perhaps because this influencer has years of wisdom to impart.

In fact, in a recent nannyfayeandme video, the great grandma goes viral when TikTok user posted a message saying “I’m scare of dying and can’t help it. Can you ask her if she is and how to help with that? She’s sweet!” and the grandson recorded Nanny responding to the question.

Nanny’s immediate response is almost like astonishment, as she says, “Noooo! Why should I be scared? Honey, what’s there to be scared of.”

Continuing on about why she has no reason to be scared, the great grandma goes viral saying, “This [life] is just a little interim time. It’s a blip. It really is not going to amount to a hill of beans.”

Great Grandma Nanny is speaking of how a human life is only a tiny piece of all eternity. “Less than 100 years up to eternity doesn’t even cut it,” the great grandma goes viral saying.

And as Nanny explains, when our souls live for all of eternity, the span of a human life is relatively insignificant.

From where to Nanny base this view? The Bible. She tells her grandson, “Your faith is to be put in what that Bible says. That Bible presents to you the most marvelous…place to live and to dwell and to be happy and to be perfect.”

Having lived nearly 100 years, Nanny knows what it’s like to struggle and what it’s like to want a good life, but she has a realistic view of life, knowing that in life there will be trouble, as Jesus says.

“When we want perfection here, we’ll never, never, never get it,” Nanny says.

But Nanny looks toward heaven as a place where there will be perfection, and we’ll have all our hopes and needs fulfilled.

She says to her audience, “There is going to be perfection. Everything’s going to be lovely. No sickness, no sorrow, no…people out of work, no trouble in any direction.”

This great grandma goes viral helping fearful viewers understand that “There’s not going to be any of that stuff that worries the tar out of us here.”

And her viewers respond. One TikTok user said in agreement, “I’m a cancer survivor. It told people it’s a win-win either I get healed or I get to see Jesus!”

Another user said, “I believe this too but hearing her tell it…brings so much peace about my daughter who passed at 21, 8 years ago.”

And this isn’t the only video that Nanny has move people with.
