While his experience was tragic, his advice is truly sobering. We can all take a lesson from Lou in identifying what we’re chasing before we chase it and prioritizing those things in our life that matter most. Most importantly, we need to remind ourselves of the why behind the what before we’re decades down a road and we don’t even know how we got there.
The great news is it’s never too late. And there’s no time like the present to put family first, follow your passions and dive head first into the dreams God has placed in your heart.
Don’t live your life in remembrance of who you were, because the truth is you have the capacity for greatness RIGHT NOW—and the world, your family, your friends and especially YOU deserve the best you have to offer.
