Lauren Daigle wowed fans with her riveting performance of the national anthem at the Clemson vs. LSU College Football Playoff National Championship.
The Lafayette-native and former LSU student sang before kickoff at 7:15 on Monday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The 14-0 LSU Tigers went head-to-head against the 14-0 Clemson Tigers for LSU’s very first national title appearance in the modern era of College Football Playoffs.
The 28-year-old Christian singer, known for her seamless crossover into secular music, delivered an unforgettable rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner in the presence of President Trump and First Lady Melania.
