Becky Murrill captured the video, which shows Bailey rolling up in a wheelchair, as her favorite nurse walks toward her saying, “I heard that Bailey was looking for me.”
The nurse had just been stuck in the elevator for an hour. Little did she know, her entire day was about to change. As Bailey silently stood from her wheelchair, the nurse let out a shriek of excitement and immediately embraced Bailey in a hug that even I could feel! While squeezing Bailey like a child squeezes their new toy, the nurse cried out, “Thank you Lord! Thank you Lord!”
You can feel the emotion that filled the hallway, as the nurse tells Bailey she had been praying for her. “I’m so happy for you. I’m sooo happy for you,” the nurse told her. “See there, I told you. Just keep the faith.”
Bailey was released from the hospital two weeks before her senior prom.
