2-Yr-Old Thinks Sister’s Wrestling Match Is a Real Fight, Hilariously Tackles Her Opponent in Viral Video

“When the girl you’re wrestling has a tough little brother, don’t MESS with his sister.”

These are the words of Ryan Prendergast’s mother, referring to the now-viral video of her little guy kicking into protective-brother mode in a flash when he saw his big sis in trouble.

The adorable 2-year-old thought his 5-year-old sister, Ruby, was in a real fight with her wrestling opponent this past Sunday, and he wasted NO time coming to her rescue.

Ryan quickly charged into the ring, pummeling the punk who dare touch his big sis. As the tot toppled over top of them in an attempt to thwart the fight, the entire crowd at the Columbia City elementary school erupted into laughter. Ryan grabbed Ruby’s opponent and tried dragging him off of her, only to be stopped by the referee who carried away the courageous defender of the innocent.

“That is the best thing I’ve ever seen! That was awesome!” Ryan’s dad can be heard saying in the video background after the impromptu outburst.

Ryan’s mom, Tori “Allen” Prendergast, unfortunately missed the match because she was working, but thankfully she got to enjoy the priceless footage caught on tape with the rest of America.

“I was working and missed the match, but when I got home he showed me the video, and I knew we had to share it,” Tori told HuffPost.

“It was so cute. The whole place was cracking up when it happened. I only have boys, but if I had a daughter, I hope they would protect their sister like that,” she added.

One thing’s for sure, superheroes come in ALL shapes and sizes, even 2-year-old lil bros. He may be small, but BOY—is he mighty! Watch Ryan’s epic five seconds of fame below.

As stated by Tori, “You won’t regret watching this video, promise.”
