It’s always amazing to watch people use their talents to shine the light of God on a public platform. On Monday night, Team Blake’s Kyla Jade did just that when she rocked “The Voice” stage with a riveting performance of the Christian hymn “How Great Thou Art.”

The rising star boasts a critically acclaimed “rich vocal styling and powerful message of hope in Jesus Christ.”

And her passion for Jesus couldn’t have been more evident as she belted the gospel classic at the top of her lungs, sending a wave of goosebumps throughout the auditorium. As tears streamed down Kyla’s face, every soul in the room was moved by the act that quickly launched her into the Top 12 based on live voting results.

“I wanna say something that’s pretty simple, really,” Blake Shelton said, in awe, after the six artists on his team performed. “I mean, I thought I had a good team, honestly. But I didn’t realize that you were all that freaking good, man.”
