As she gears up to hit the road for her Reputation Stadium Tour, Taylor Swift invited some very special fans to her final dress rehearsal over the weekend in hopes of receiving their stamp of approval. Let’s just say she passed with flying colors.
The 28-year-old “Delicate” singer invited 2000 Arizona foster children and their foster families to attend the final dress rehearsal for her upcoming tour.
What started with an email and a lot of scepticism this week, became a complete dream tonight!!! #TaylorSwift opened up her final dress rehearsal for her #reputationstadiumtour to just 2000 foster and adoptive families this evening, and it is an INCREDIBLE show!!! Not only did she do this totally free but she bought us all pizza and dessert, and is probably still there taking pictures with everyone (we needed to get the kids to bed so we missed that part)!!! We had incredible seats, we were able to stand front row at one point and she waved right at the kids!! They loved the whole show!! Say what you will, but I respect and admire this woman and her generous nature on top of her amazing talent!! #bigfan #huge #fromthebeginning #raisethemright #adoptedmyheart #loveup
While T-Swift may have invited some of her youngest fans, you better believe she sent some mama bears home shouting her praises as well.
“A night my girls and I will always remember — meeting Taylor Swift!!” Wrote Abbi Williams, an Arizona foster mom who attended the show with her girls on Saturday night. “Thank you for such a generous evening with your littlest fans. Your show is amazing — you and your team did an incredible job!!”
According to several attendees, Taylor invited the foster kids and their families to her final dress rehearsal in which no cell phones were allowed. She turned the whole thing into a massive pizza party complete with pizza, ice cream, and cookies she provided, then did individual meet and greets after the performance with each of the families. They were the very first members of the public to actually see her newest tour — a group of young fans who may otherwise never get to see this superstar in concert.
“When @taylorswift invites you to her final dress rehearsal, you go. We couldn’t bring cameras in, just know that if you are able to see her #reputationstadiumtour DO IT!” Wrote Mesa, Arizona mother, Katie. “She was such a gracious and generous hostess…complete with a pizza party and photo op afterward.”
Taylor’s generosity was a common consensus among the moms in attendance.
“Private concert for foster and adopted families. She’ll never promote that because she’s humble,” Katie continued. “I got to meet her dad and give him some thank you notes from the kids and he teared up. He was so sweet. I got to thank him for raising such a generous and gracious daughter.”
Each of Swift’s guests also left with a signed copy of her new album, Reputation.
“I don’t even know what to say…literally the best night of our lives!!” Wrote Kelli Dillon. “We were invited to a private concert by Taylor Swift herself! Us along with 2,000 other foster and adoptive families were invited by Taylor personally and man was it incredible!! She performed her entire tour set (a full 2 hour concert) and then afterwards she bought everyone pizza and desserts and we got to hug her and take a picture with her! I feel like the whole night was a dream, but all I have to say is @taylorswift you are one of the most genuine and kind human beings ever! Thank you for your generosity…WE LOVE TAYLOR!!!!!”

P.S. she sang right in front of us (like I could totally reach her) and blew us a kiss! 😘
“Us foster and adopted families, we don’t do what we do for attention,” Dillon added. “But when someone like Taylor Swift steps up and does what she did last night, I don’t even have the words for what it was. All I can say is thank you, Taylor. It was truly amazing and emotional. Thank you. It was truly a memory for a lifetime.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Taylor Swift has gone out of her way to love on her fans. I can think of countless stories, like the fan who received $10,000 for a therapy dog after Taylor heard his cousin’s rendition of her song, “Blank Space.” Or this fan who received the birthday gift of a LIFETIME from T-Swift, along with $1989 of her student loans being paid off prior to the singer’s 1989 tour.
Or how about Isabella McCune? The 8-year-old girl Taylor Swift just visited in the hospital last week after a fire pit explosion on St. Patrick’s day left her severely burned and unable to attend the debut of the Reputation Stadium Tour in Arizona next Tuesday.
We love catching celebrities in the act of doing GOOD and there’s no better class act than the one and only, Taylor Swift.
