"A mom-heart doesn’t change just because her kids are adults. And no one can ever take that spot in a child’s heart... grown or not. As I’ve gotten older, my mom still does the same motherly things she’s always done, now for me and my babies. She still stands outside, rain or shine, and waves goodbye as we leave."

Boy Requests Chick-fil-A on Sunday for His Last Meal, Chick-fil-A Leaves Him in Tears With Unexpected Response

Danny Agee, a young boy from Temple, Texas, was in for the surprise of his life when he made what appeared to be an impossible request from Chick-fil-A for his ‘last meal’ from before surgery to remove his brain tumor.

The request?

Chick-fil-A on a Sunday.

Like it does for all too many of us, the craving for the crispy and oh-so-delicious Lord’s chicken came for the boy at the most inconvenient of times. But not to fear, Chick-fil-A was once again willing to go above and beyond to serve their customers in a special way and more importantly, to bring tears of joy to a much-deserved little boy.

Though his family kindly reminded him that they were closed for the Sabbath, Danny’s nurse, Jenny Pearce, overheard the conversation and decided to pull some strings.

Between Pearce and the managers at North 31st Street Chick-fil-A, Danny was able to get his hands on some mouth-watering nuggets on EASTER SUNDAY of all times.

Even better, the Chick-fil-A cow and the manager came to personally deliver Danny’s food order to his hospital bed.

And Danny’s tearful reaction to having Chick-fil-A on a Sunday… was PRICELESS:

Chick-fil-A on a Sunday? An exception was made for this child with a brain tumor

A child with a brain tumor was asked what he wanted his last meal before his surgery to be. He asked for it on a Sunday. His family told him the restaurant was closed… but everyone was in for a surprise.
