Gunman Kills Husband in Front of Pregnant Wife on Their Way to Church

A terrible Tennessee shooting tragedy has rocked the nation in 2020. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Dangelo Dorsey held a married couple hostage at gunpoint before bringing them to a McMinnville house and eventually murdering the husband.

Dorsey killed 23-year-old husband, Jordan Stevens, in front of his wife Aileen before forcing her into a vehicle and leading cops on a high-speed interstate chase exceeding 100mph.

Upon crashing the car, Dorsey shot and killed himself, while the woman he held hostage was found safe at the scene.

The violent crime spree started when Dorsey rear-ended the Mustang Jordan and Aileen were driving. Mistaking the hoax for just a fender-bender, they pulled over and were immediately taken hostage. The cold-blooded killer made them drive him to their house so he could switch vehicles to a Toyota Rav4.

After Jordan was killed in front of his partner, Dorsey dumped his body along I-24 in Coffee County.

Earlier that morning, the gunman had unleashed fire inside a car heading westbound on I-24, killing 28-year-old Darcey Johnson and injuring another. The shooting stopped traffic, after which Dorsey approached two more drivers in separate vehicles and shot them through the window.

“Due to the complex nature of the investigation along with multiple scenes, detectives are still trying to figure out what led up to the thread of violent acts,” reported Fox 17 Nashville.

Jordan’s grieving mom, Michelle Stevens, says her son was on the way to church with his pregnant wife at the time of the horrific incident. Jordan had begged Dorsey to not hurt his wife and child, but to take him instead.

“I want everyone to know Jordan died a hero,” said Michelle.

Aileen is currently recovering, and both her and the unborn baby are expected to be OK.

Michelle shared with WTVC that her son was praying for a little girl.

Just yesterday morning, doctors confirmed that Jordan and Aileen would, in fact, be having a baby girl.

If you would like to help financially support the Stevens Family during this difficult time, you may donate to their GoFundMe page. So far, over $47,000 has been raised in Jordan’s memory.

Please join us in praying for this family during their unthinkable time of grief.
