Governor Josh Shapiro, who spoke to Corey’s wife and daughters, described Corey as a dedicated supporter of Trump and a beloved member of his community. “Corey was a husband, a father, a volunteer firefighter, a hero sheltering his family from those bullets,” said President Joe Biden in an address from the Oval Office. “We should all hold his family and all those injured in our prayers.”
