Laura Ackley obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University in 2013. Upon graduation, she became a certified elementary educator with an additional ESL certification. She has devoted herself to work in the public school system since the Fall of 2013. Ackley received the pre-service Educator of the Year Award. While teaching at her current school, she received the “Rising Star” award.
