Wonder Years Star Danica McKellar Thanks Candace Cameron Bure for Leading her to Christ

Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar Talk About Jesus

As you may know, Danica McKellar and Candace Cameron Bure have been longtime friends, having both been child actors and having starred together on shows like Dancing With the Stars. But now the two share something even more special—a relationship with Jesus.

In Candace Cameron Bure’s Season one, Episode 8, titled “Celebrate Christmas with Danica McKellar,” the Wonder Years star told her host, “Candace, I don’t wanna brush over the huge, huge impact that you’ve had on my life this year.”

The star told Candace Cameron Bure, “You were just an angel in my life and you still are. And I just wanna thank you for that publicly.”

What she was referring to, was how the Full House star had listened to her and shared about her own faith. Candace Cameron Bure made herself available to the Wonder Years star as she began to ask questions about Jesus.

“Because of you helping me to find my relationship with God and Jesus, it’s been like a revolution in my life,” Danica McKellar said. “It’s been a revelation in my life.”

More specifically, the former Wonder Years star said to Candace Cameron, “You gave me this Bible that I read all the time and I love it so much and I go to church now and I just, I talk to Jesus all the time every day. It’s unbelievable. And you were like my guide.”

Clearly Danica McKellar is happy about this new journey she’s on with Jesus, but she says it best in her wishes to viewers at the turn of the year:

“I want people to feel the joy that I have found this year. I want people to feel that, and I want them to not feel alone. I want them to feel the Holy Spirit with them and feel that support and love and comfort.”
