This pandemic has forced me to become the kind of nurse I didn’t want to be, hurried, harried, just struggling to keep people alive, keep my head above the water.
"I saw healthy, young people die just as often as I saw elderly, sick people die. These people died alone. Their families were given a FaceTime goodbye, which to me, felt cheap. I didn’t know how to apologize for not being enough."
If you struggle for joy – SING! If you are joyful – SING! In God’s perfect design and in His perfect understanding of the human condition He has bound joy and singing together for His people.
Let’s not be deceived into thinking we are in control of this virus or anything else really. NOTHING comes our way that hasn’t passed through His hands first.
