Husband Is Confused by Wife’s Birthday Gift—But When He Puts It on, He’s in Tears!

When you woke up this morning, you probably opened your eyes to a bedroom that was lit, looked outside to see a sky that was blue and a yard that was green. Maybe the flowers were blooming colors of red, pink, yellow or purple, and your orange juice was just that—orange.

For most of us, we don’t think much about our ability to recognize everyday colors. We don’t look up at the sky and imagine what it must look like for someone who can’t see the color blue.

Thanks to a viral video this week, we’re all being reminded of the blessing that it is to see God’s beauty for what it is—vibrant, colorful and full of life.

At an outdoor birthday celebration with his family, a man is shown opening a gift from his wife and sons. He opens the box, pulls a few things at and looks at her holding the camera with a face of, “What on earth did you get me?”

After pulling a few more things out of the box, he realizes his birthday gift was a pair of glasses. Not just ordinary reading glasses you’d buy at the Dollar General. These were Enchroma glasses, which make it possible for people who are colorblind to see vivid color.

He puts the spectacles on, and you can see his entire world change! He’s in awe.

So touching! His reaction is precious! ✨
