Flight Attendant Sees Baby in Crying Fit—When He Takes Mom to the Back, a Woman Snaps This Pic

Nothing seems to warm our hearts quite like the angels we meet in flight.

There’s just something about soaring thousands of feet above the rest of the world in one little plane that gives people who were once strangers a unique sense of kinship. Boarding a commercial flight is kind of like being suspended on your own island six miles high, along with a couple hundred souls who are all keenly aware that “we’re in this thing together, because for the next couple hours, we’re all we’ve got.”

And perhaps no airline knows how to breed that sense of humanity better than Southwest.

There must be something about those wing pins that make these fine folks angels in the flesh.

For one mom, Peggy Uhle, a Southwest pilot actually turned around on the runway and went back to the gate to get her quickly to her ailing son.

And when Rex Ridenoure boarded his L.A.-bound flight to visit his dying sister last year, the Southwest crew coordinated a beautiful sendoff to the woman who just so happened to be a SW flight attendant herself.

The 121 passengers on board joined in penning heart-warming napkin messages to a woman they never even knew.

And not surprisingly, this week, Southwest is making headlines again for yet another act of unspeakable kindness.

A woman named Carrie Jaboor recently shared the touching moment she witnessed between a flight attendant and a struggling mother aboard her flight.

“My heart… There was a mother and her two young girls in front of me on the plane and the baby suddenly had a very loud crying fit that wouldn’t stop,” Jaboor opened in her viral Facebook post.

“This Southwest employee asked the mother to come to the back of the plane with him. I looked back and saw him blowing bubbles for the little girl until she stopped crying as he was also giving tissues to the mother and consoling her as she was crying too.”

“There are some seriously kind people in this world ❤️ .”

The brief but deeply emotional encounter is now garnering widespread attention across the web. One comment in particular that is tugging on the heartstrings of America is that of a fellow flight attendant, Lyze Lynch.

“Our job is hard, we work long hours, are constantly tired, and are far away from home,” wrote Lyze. “But I think I can speak for my Sky brothers and sisters when I say that we genuinely try to make your travels better. Way to go Southwest!!!”

We couldn’t agree more! What a heart-melting display of humanity from one man who went out of his way to bring a little bubble magic to a little girl’s day, along with a MUCH-needed smile to her mama’s face while he was at it.

Sir, you’ve certainly earned your wings. ❤️💙💛
