And she made sure to note that this was no quick ordeal:
“Keep in mind this was a flight that was supposed to be a quick 45 minutes,” she added. “We ended up sitting on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours!”

But not a single murmur of complaint came from the Good Samaritan mama, even as her own daughter started sobbing for attention. Instead she used the moment as a life lesson to teach her daughter what our real “job” is as fellow humans on this earth: to help one another:
“Without a complaint this woman fed the other woman’s baby and burped him. Her own daughter started crying. This mom, so calmly, went on to explain to her young daughter that ‘our job is to help other people. This mom is all by herself with no help, and really needs another mom to help.'”
The woman then carried on holding the woman’s son and singing him lullabies throughout the whole flight, without a single cry from the newborn.
Mackenzie was so touched by the endearing act that she had to share her story, which has since gone viral on the Love What Matters Facebook page.
“My heart still feels fuzzy,” she wrote. “Moral of the story is when you see people needing help, do the right thing and help them.”💛
