Mr. Darby Says Pay it Forward

According to Darby, all he asks of his students who he helps out financially is that they would pay it forward in some way.

“It’s quite simple…just learn to help others. That is one of the greatest things that we could do in terms of human beings.”

One might say, Mr. Darby is a modern-day example of what Jesus said in Mark 12:31 about the second greatest commandment.

“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Amazingly, after word got out about this high school principal works night jobs, a fundraiser was started for Mr. Darby, and donation totals are close to $200,000. At his request, the entire amount will be given to the school’s Booster Club to continue to help his students in need.
