James Madison High School Continues to Be a ‘Staple’ in Vienna and Around the World

For nearly six decades, James Madison High School has taught and equipped students for community life outside the school walls. The entire town “takes pride in the diverse accomplishments of the students and school.”

In fact, the school’s motto is “One School | One Community | One World.” The staff and students live this out each day.

“Students thrive at Madison HS because they develop strong and positive relationships and work in a supportive social-emotional and academic environment,” said the school’s profile.

The school’s staff doesn’t stop at mere education. They rely on parents and the community to “provide an exceptional educational experience for our students where the goal and mission of the school is to develop creative and resilient global citizens.”

The school is used to seeing its students engage in acts of kindness. This month, the “Madison Club ‘Send-A-Box'” worked together to gather backpacks and school supplies for kids in Uganda. They were able to send 80 backpacks, “filled with school supplies” to children for the school year.
