Jennifer Garner Hilariously Gets Stuck in Elevator for Over an Hour at Comic-Con

Jennifer Garner was attending Comic-Con in San Diego this week when the actress found herself in an unexpected and memorable situation: stuck in an elevator for over an hour. The beloved actress, known for her roles in “Alias,” and “13 Going on 30,” turned the ordeal into a humorous and engaging social media event, much to the delight of her fans.

Garner was on her way to a highly anticipated screening of “Deadpool and Wolverine,” in which she makes a special cameo appearance when the elevator malfunctioned. Documenting the experience on Instagram, Garner’s updates kept her followers entertained and updated throughout the ordeal, captioning the series of videos: “Baby’s first Comic Con: a short story.”

“Hey guys, we’re stuck on this elevator,” she began in one of her posts. “I need, um, I could use a Wolverine, I could use a Deadpool. I could use someone. We are 11 minutes into our elevator sit,” she quipped, referencing the popular Marvel characters. “It’s toasty… I think I heard on an episode of The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine, or something, that you’re supposed to sit, so we’re sitting… We’re about an hour, we’re beeping now.”

As the minutes ticked by, Garner’s sense of humor remained intact. About 45 minutes into being stuck, she began singing “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall,” providing comic relief to her fellow passengers and her social media audience.

Finally, after an hour and 12 minutes, help arrived. Firefighters cracked open the elevator doors, prompting cheers from Garner and her team. The actress expressed her gratitude to the rescue team and made her way to the screening, arriving just in time.

The incident added an unexpected twist to Garner’s first-ever Comic-Con experience, but her ability to handle the situation with humor and grace only endeared her further to fans. Garner’s cameo in the “Deadpool and Wolverine” screening was met with enthusiastic applause, but it was her elevator adventure that became one of the most talked-about stories of the event.
