Fox News Commentator Jesse Watters Let the Air Out of His Employee’s Tires in an Effort to Start an Affair With Her

The Online Response to How He Let the Air Out of Emma’s Tires

Since the airing, social media influencers, as well as much of the public have responded quite negatively.

Social media influencer, @decodingfoxnews, posted to twitter on April 16th, “Jesse Watters jokes about how he courted a woman 14 years his junior. He let the air out of her tires so he could offer her a ride home. He leaves out that he was married at the time. This is some stalker nonsense. She also worked for him…”

In the last handful of days, the post by @decodingfoxnews has been retweeted nearly 600 times and has hundreds of comments.

Three-time Oscar nominee, Mark Ruffalo, known for his roles in “The Avengers” and “Spotlight,” even chimed in, posting the news story to Twitter, and asking, “Does anyone else think this is creepy?”

One commenter on Mark Ruffalo’s post said, “People like this is why my dad taught me to change a tire, where to park, who to walk out with and who to watch out for. And I’ve taught my daughter the same. If he’ll manipulate to get you, he’ll manipulate other things too. Gives good men a bad name.”

Guzman posted, “How did he even think this was ok to do let alone share? He was also married when he did that.”

Another commenter just posted, “Ewwwwwwwwwwww” with a GIF of David Rose on SchittsCreek gagging.

Sadly, the conservative values that Fox News stands for were not represented with Jesse Watter’s actions. It’s a disappointing soundbite, and discouraging to see how the other commentators laughed along with him. Is Fox News going to comment on the disturbing content? Doesn’t seem like it.
