Kraft Will Pay for Your Babysitter This Mother’s Day You Can Enjoy Some Kid-Free Time

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and mamas, you deserve to spend it exactly the way you want.

All year long, you labor tirelessly entertaining, cooking, cleaning, and chauffeuring. Whether it be drying dishes or drying tears; cleaning fingerpaintings off the walls or scrubbing mac-and-cheese chunks out of the carpet, the line of work we call motherhood truly knows no end.

While yours is surely a labor of love, everybody needs a break. That’s why this year, Kraft is encouraging you to take this one day for yourself to do whatever you like — on them.

That’s right, in an effort to show appreciation for all you do, the makers of America’s favorite mac and cheese are footing the bill for your babysitter this Mother’s Day through their ‘Mother’s Day Away’ promotion.

“Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate Mom in all of her greatness, but we know the holiday doesn’t stop the challenges of motherhood — temper tantrums, sleepless nights and picky eaters,” said Kraft’s head of marketing, Sergio Eleuterio. “With Kraft ‘Mother’s Day Away’ we are giving moms across the country the chance to have what they secretly really want: some time for themselves.”

So spend the whole day away at the spa, or enjoy some quality time with your kiddos before escaping for a much-needed date night. Or go brunching with the girls and hit up the nail salon for those manis and pedis you wanted before summer hits. It’s totally up to you!

I know what you’re all thinking… So what’s the catch?

So did we.

Shockingly enough, there doesn’t appear to be one.

Other than that Kraft’s promotion funds are capped at $50,000, so be sure to act soon.

According to their press release, they simply ask that moms submit their babysitter bills of up to $100 each to their website, and Kraft will reimburse the amount. Starting Sunday, May 12, you can upload your receipt or proof of payment to the ‘Mother’s Day Away’ website.

Kraft’s website lists the following simple instructions:

“Step 1: Get yourself a babysitter on Mother’s Day.

Step 2: On Mother’s Day, come back to this site and submit your receipt and Kraft will cover up to $100 of your babysitter bill.

After you’ve enjoyed a day of ‘me-time’ and uninterrupted conversation, come back to this site, upload the receipt for the babysitter and Kraft will pay you back.

The offer will end at 11:59 p.m. on May 19. For more info, click here.
