1 ½ Years After My Wedding, I Saw Marriage Wasn’t for Me—When I Looked at my Wife, I Knew My Dad Was Right

"The nearer Kim and I approached the decision to marry, the more I was filled with a paralyzing fear. Was I ready? Was I making the right choice? Was Kim the right person to marry? Would she make me happy? Then, one fateful night..."

“I Looked Over to His Side of the Bed. He Wasn’t There. I Knew He Wouldn’t Be There, But for the First Time, It...

"I looked back to the bed. Still empty. And then it happened. I fell to my knees, and then to my back. It came from up from my gut. I could almost physically feel it moving to the top of my abdomen, to my chest, into my neck and then my head. I cannot describe the pain."

Little Caesar’s: “To the Person Going Through Our Waste for Their Next Meal”

The public chimed in with reactions and comments, commending the staff of Little Caesars. Here are some of the comments.

“This made my heart happy… and a tear to my eye… It gives me hope for our future and the future of humanity.”

“How caring! People are people. Love them all.”

“Very nice of them. Why is it on the front window instead of in back by the dumpster where the forager can see it?”

“Good job”

“Very cool! Good work little Caesars!”

“Bravo”

It turns out this particular Little Caesars has a reputation for doing GOOD.

A local news outlet discovered that the Fargo location has been helping their homeless neighbors for years, by making nightly deliveries of leftover pizzas to homeless shelters in the area.

They’re feeding bellies, lifting spirits and proving that all it takes is a little bit of kindness to make a world of good.

Often, it doesn’t take much to make a big impact on someone’s life. Whether meeting a basic need of food or shelter or looking people in the eyes and smiling, each of us can make a difference today. Here are these quick and simple ways to be a blessing to others:

  • Keep a few granola bars or packaged foods in your car and hand them out to those in need.
  • Be mindful of those who might need an extra hand while shopping. You can take an extra minute to hold the door for someone with her hands full or offer to reach something up high for someone in a scooter.
  • Write a note of thanks (and tip generously!) for those in service.
