NKOTB Star Donnie Wahlberg Spends $82 at Waffle House, Sends Viral Message to Waitresses

Waffle House is known for its late-night eats, 24-hour-service and above-average menu for a place that has prices comparable to McDonald’s.

It’s not exactly what you would call “fit for a king.” Except, of course, when Donnie Wahlberg rolls up for an early morning breakfast.

The founding member of New Kids on The Block posted a viral photo on Facebook after getting his breakfast fix at a Waffle House in Charlotte on Thursday morning.

The picture showed his bill, totaling $82.60, followed by his generous tip of $2,000.

“My mom waited tables, and my dad tended bars—for years,” Wahlberg wrote in the Facebook post. “So, when I walk into a Waffle House, and the staff treats me like a king, you better believe I treat them like queens!”

As if being tipped a couple thousand bucks and taking a selfie with Donnie Wahlberg wasn’t every girl’s dream come true, the celeb also reportedly gave the Waffle House staff front-row tickets and backstage passes to Thursday night’s NKOTB concert in Charlotte.

How’s that for being treated like royalty?
