When You’re Not Your Husband’s “Woman-Crush Wednesday”

He doesn’t comment on my photos telling me how “gorgeous” or “hot” I am to him, and I don’t get the “I love you too, baby’s” whenever I post something admiring him.

From My Husband: “If This Text Goes Through, I Love You”—The Day I Realized I’m Not OK

We played phone tag for hours and then he texted me a text I hope no one ever has to receive from someone they love and miss: “Still not working. Phone’s going to die. If this goes through, I love you.”

Photographer Says “Stop Posing”—Then the Groom Whispers a Secret That Wrecks the Bride in the Most BEAUTIFUL Way

There are few days in a person’s life that are as emotional as that of their wedding day.

Nobody knows that better than Australian wedding photographer James Day. The man behind the camera had the privilege of photographing the marriage of Adrian and Roslyn last week, when a raw moment between the newlyweds totally wrecked him. It’s since warmed the heart of thousands of people across the Internet.

He posted the sunset photo on Facebook, writing that the usual perfect-lighting-photo just wasn’t doing this couple justice:

“Just as the light became amazing I scrapped everything I knew and I walked up to them and said, ‘Guys, stop posing. Just enjoy your first sunset together as husband and wife.’

They then held each other in the most beautiful way… It was so much more beautiful than anything I could ever set up.

Then I said to Adrian, ‘I have a question for you, but I want you to tell the answer to Roslyn and not me.’ I continued, ‘Out of the billions of people on the planet, you’ve chosen to spend the rest of your life with Roslyn. Can you tell her why?’

In a matter of moments I could start seeing Roslyn’s eyes glisten, then the most beautiful tears streamed down her face. Then I found myself crying.”

The photo has since been shared more than 50,000 times.

As for the secret that Adrian whispered in his bride’s ear, James told Huffington Post, “It wasn’t for me to hear. I had him whisper it in her ear because it’s for her ears only. I like that they were able to share that moment privately―well, until it went viral on the Internet.”

There’s no doubt that the rare and beautiful moment is one that both the newlyweds and James will cherish forever.
