WATCH: Steve Harvey Breaks Down Crying While Sharing About His Faith in God

The Reaction to Steve Harvey’s Call to Christian Love and Grace

The TBN host responded almost immediately to Harvey’s call by praying. In his prayer, he said, “Father, we thank you for the heart of Steve Harvey…Father, let your glory be revealed.”

The crowd was clearly moved, clapping and cheering to Harvey’s comments. But those who watched it second-hand, perhaps even years later were moved, as well.

One YouTube user posted, “He makes a very good point about the Christian church today. We do tend to look down our noses at other Christians who don’t lead perfect lives when in reality, none of us do.”

Another said, “I can relate. I’ve been a Christian for years, but I only became born again…I only started living my life for Jesus once my father died. His devotion to God motivated me and touched my heart. And I want to continue what he left off.”

One individual who was impressed with Harvey’s willingness to show emotions said, “Steve is such a awesome guy not afraid to show his emotions despite his success. God bless you, Steve!”

And all of us Christians could take Steve’s advice to be with people as they struggle on their faith journeys and help them turn back to God, rather than turning our backs to them.
