I am an assistant principal in a middle school (grades 6-8). When I have to search a student's cell phone, I often get sick to my stomach at what I find. It gets worse and worse every year.
"Is time spent just being a child relaxing at home not important? She's in school from 8:15am-4pm daily so someone please explain to me why she should have 2-3 hours of homework to do every night?"
