Dr. Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon and former agnostic, suffered a rare and severe case of streptococcal meningitis which caused his brain to flatline. Dr. Alexander made a miraculous recovery and says the experience taught him to “realize that our souls are eternal.”
“I hadn't seen him in nearly 13 years, he was 4 years old then, but everything seemed to fit… I slowly walked over to him, and his family. I slowly approached him, and when he looked at me... I shattered the ice."
Many families suffered terrible losses earlier this month when a tornado with 150 mile per hour winds whipped through the Clarksville, Tennessee area. One young mother, Sydney Moore, is thanking God that her family was spared.
"I know I'm doing it for Jesus. I know that he's real," said Landon. "I know that angels are there. I know that there's a heaven. I'm not doing it for someone I don't know or that I've never seen. I've seen Jesus. I know he's there. He's asked me to do this and this is what I'm doing."
