I am an assistant principal in a middle school (grades 6-8). When I have to search a student's cell phone, I often get sick to my stomach at what I find. It gets worse and worse every year.

We have a tendency to put up blinders, and believe that it’s only happening where we can see it—in third world countries across the globe. But it’s happening in our backyards, across the street, at our favorite sporting events and across our nation.
