As she gears up to hit the road for her Reputation Stadium Tour, Taylor Swift invited some very special fans to her final dress rehearsal over the weekend in hopes of receiving their stamp of approval. Let’s just say she passed with flying colors.
The 28-year-old “Delicate” singer invited 2000 Arizona foster children and their foster families to attend the final dress rehearsal for her upcoming tour.
What started with an email and a lot of scepticism this week, became a complete dream tonight!!! #TaylorSwift opened up her final dress rehearsal for her #reputationstadiumtour to just 2000 foster and adoptive families this evening, and it is an INCREDIBLE show!!! Not only did she do this totally free but she bought us all pizza and dessert, and is probably still there taking pictures with everyone (we needed to get the kids to bed so we missed that part)!!! We had incredible seats, we were able to stand front row at one point and she waved right at the kids!! They loved the whole show!! Say what you will, but I respect and admire this woman and her generous nature on top of her amazing talent!! #bigfan #huge #fromthebeginning #raisethemright #adoptedmyheart #loveup
While T-Swift may have invited some of her youngest fans, you better believe she sent some mama bears home shouting her praises as well.
“A night my girls and I will always remember — meeting Taylor Swift!!” Wrote Abbi Williams, an Arizona foster mom who attended the show with her girls on Saturday night. “Thank you for such a generous evening with your littlest fans. Your show is amazing — you and your team did an incredible job!!”
According to several attendees, Taylor invited the foster kids and their families to her final dress rehearsal in which no cell phones were allowed. She turned the whole thing into a massive pizza party complete with pizza, ice cream, and cookies she provided, then did individual meet and greets after the performance with each of the families. They were the very first members of the public to actually see her newest tour — a group of young fans who may otherwise never get to see this superstar in concert.
