Husband Notices Wife ‘Acting Pregnant’ After His Vasectomy—Then He Surprises Her With a Positive Pregnancy Test

Tim and Rachel Brummel are parents to three young boys. Like many before them, after having their third child, it came time for Tim to get the snip that would prevent any future pregnancies.

Or so they thought.

Tim Brummel

About 8 months after his vasectomy, Tim noticed his wife “acting a little bit pregnant.” Having been through this a few times, he called the doctor, realizing he had never gotten the results from his five-month check-up following the procedure.

To his surprise, the vasectomy was unsuccessful, and they forgot to tell him!

(Hey, thanks Doc.)

Tim was put in a unique position. For the first time in their marriage, he knew that Rachel was pregnant before she did. In fact, Rachel had absolutely no idea.

He sneakily disabled the toilet so it wouldn’t flush, and used a leftover pregnancy test to see if his instincts were right. The test came back positive, and Rachel was in for a HUGE surprise.

“She has no idea what she’s gonna find out when she gets home,” Tim tells the camera.

He set up some flowers and a note that read:

“To my baby mama, If you ever worried that life would be a bore, put that fear aside you are now a mommy of four.”

Behind the card was the pregnancy test Rachel had unknowingly taken.

Once she found out, they decided to have some fun with the announcement–being that their closest friends and family believed they would not be having any more kids.

Keeping their own little secret, the couple went to some extreme measures to keep things under wraps from their family and friends until they found out whether baby #4 would be a boy or girl.
