Nashville Police Department Credits Jon Bon Jovi For Talking a Woman Off a Bridge
Bon Jovi was shooting a music video and ended up saving a woman’s life on Tuesday, September 10, according to The Tennessean. He was on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Nashville, shooting a music video for his hit, “The People’s House.” The pedestrian bridge was still open to the public while the crew was at work.
The police department posted a video of the incident, with the woman’s features obscured and identity protected. She was wearing a blue shirt and standing on the other side of the bridge railing, facing towards the deep water of the Cumberland River. Bon Jovi and a production assistant walked up to the woman, kept their distance, and began to talk with her.

Eventually, the woman turns towards the duo, and they help her back over the railing to safety.
Bon Jovi hugged the woman and returned to his work on the video shoot.
