Groom’s Reaction to Seeing His Bride for the 1st Time Will Leave You Cry-Laughing ‘Til It HURTS

Every girl grows up dreaming about her wedding day. The poofy white dress, the petal pink flowers, every Pinterest-perfect detail that she can possibly drum up.

I think it’s safe to say that when dreaming about her wedding day, Elizabeth Hundley never planned on there being a T-Rex costume involved.

But lo and behold, the Chicago bride dawned much more than just a white gown on her special day.

In an effort to make her wedding day unforgettable for her soon-to-be husband, Tom Gardner, Elizabeth crafted up a wacky surprise for the couple’s “first look.”

”My mother’s maiden name, and my middle name, is Rex,” she told The Huffington Post. “So, I thought it would be funny to wear the costume on the day I would go from a Rex/Hundley to a Gardner.”

Elizabeth says Tom has always encouraged her to be her fun-loving-self. Still, she was admittedly nervous that he might be “mad” when he turned around to a T-rex and not his bride.

Tom’s priceless reaction is proof that these two were made for each other.

“I was floored, completely and utterly surprised at what she did,” he said. “I was totally disarmed and could not stop from bursting with laughter. It was just so her.”

After sharing a hug and a kiss in Elizabeth’s costume, Tom helped his bride transform from a scaly giant into the beauty that she is. Then the two tied the knot!

I’d say their wedding photographer, Jon Clark, put it best: “When the bride tells you she’s dressing up like a T-Rex, you know it’s going to be a fun a wedding day!”

Cheers to the happy couple! May your lives together be full of laughter and T-Rex moments.
