14-Year-old Brings Home a Fake Baby for School Assignment—Her Mom’s Reaction Is Winning the Internet

After a 14-year-old brings home a fake baby for a school assignment, she seeks her mom’s help with no success.

How’d the 14-year-old do with her fake baby?

Lawren Cole Galloway seemed to get some satisfaction out of her daughter’s struggle with a school assignment that had the 14-year-old care for a fake baby for several days.

The fake baby, provided by the school was made with real baby needs that the 14-year-old was required to take care of around the clock, such as feeding the baby, changing the baby, and burping the baby. It’s designed to track students’ responsiveness and care, and when fake baby is returned to the school, a report shows how well the student did with these tasks.

For 14-year-old Olivia, it was a struggle, and she received a 65 percent on her first try. Her mother, Lawren, posted a report on Facebook, showing that while her 14-year-old daughter changed the fake baby 100 percent of the time, she did not rock the baby sufficiently, nor did she support its head.

Along with a photo of the report of the 14-year-old’s ability to care for the fake baby, Lawren posted images of her exhausted daughter.

“She’s had him since Friday night. She is absolutely exhausted and ready to quit the class and give William back. (Maybe even throw him back),” the mom posted to Facebook. “It’s definitely been a learning experience.”

Check out the photos and the mom’s words here:

In her post, the mom seemed to revel in her daughter’s struggle, saying, “My favorite moment so far is when she came into my room last night around 3am. She was crying real tears while feeding him his bottle.”

The real mom explained, “She was begging me to help her because she just wanted to get some sleep.”

Wondering what Lawren told her exhausted, crying 14-year-old daughter?
