"There will always be the older white woman in Walmart who stared at us with sheer disgust, or the African-American mother who looked at us and just shook her head.”

BREAKING: Ariana Grande Announces She’s Returning to Manchester Armed With a Crew of Celeb Supporters: “We Won’t Let Hate Win”

Just one week after the tragic suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert left 22 dead and more than 100 others injured in Manchester, the 23-year-old pop star is honoring the victims and international community in a big way.

With the help of her A-list friends like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Nial Horran, Pharrell and Justin Bieber, Ariana announced Friday that she’ll be holding a benefit concert in honor of the victims and families of the heinous attack.

“One Love Manchester” will take place this Sunday, June 4, at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.

“Music is something that everyone on Earth can share,” Ariana wrote in the letter she tweeted on Friday. “Music is meant to heal us, to bring us together, to make us happy.”

Sunday’s concert will raise money for all those who have been affected by the May 22 terrorist attack, with all proceeds from the show going toward the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.”

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 1, via Ticketmaster.

The Manchester Arena terrorist attack was not Ariana Grande’s fault. She’s trying to wrap her head around the events right alongside the nearly 20,000 in attendance. It’s awesome to see her joining forces with her fans and fellow musicians to tackle evil and stand in solidarity with the innocent victims who lost their lives at her concert.

We’re excited to see how the fundraiser—which is in partnership with the British Red Cross—takes what was meant for evil and turns it into something good for everyone.
