"I looked back to the bed. Still empty. And then it happened. I fell to my knees, and then to my back. It came from up from my gut. I could almost physically feel it moving to the top of my abdomen, to my chest, into my neck and then my head. I cannot describe the pain."

Chip and Joanna Gaines Divorced? With Just 10 Words Chip Shuts the Gossip Down for GOOD

Chip and Joanna Gaines getting divorced? America’s favorite power couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines, are no strangers to the rumor mill.

Whether it’s talk that Joanna is leaving their hit HGTV show, Fixer Upper, or that she’s launching a cosmetic line and ditching everything shiplap, the Gaines always seem to be targets of tabloid schemes.

Instagram

The most recent buzz claims that the couple is “breaking up.” And last week, Chip Gaines confidently took the opportunity to squash that crazy talk.

Chip responded to a fan on Twitter last week who, like the Waco couple, is sick of hearing stories about the two splitting.

“I’m so sick of these ‘stories’ claiming @joannagaines and @chippergaines breaking up,” a fan wrote on Twitter. “Leave this couple alone they are wonderful together.”

Using the hashtag #LoveOfMyLife, Chip made sure to set the record straight that divorce is not an option for these creatives.

“Won’t ever happen.. you can take that to the bank! #loveOfMyLife

Chip and Joanna have always been open about their faith and the hard work it takes to make their marriage work.

“Nothing has come easy,” Chip says in a recent interview with People Magazine. “We’ve worked so hard to have this beautiful family and this farm—it really does seem like the American dream you heard about growing up.”

The couple met in 2001 and tied the knot in 2003. For years after that, they admittedly lived off of the cash in Chip’s wallet as they scraped by in the house-flipping business.

“I remember when we first got married the only money we had was what was in Chip’s pocket. He always had a wad of cash, but we were broke. If I needed to go grocery shopping it’s whatever was in his pocket. That’s how we paid the bills.”

Of course, now they’re running the Magnolia empire along with a laundry-list of other accolades in their quest for success.

Still, the couple’s top priorities are their marriage and their four kids: Drake, Ella, Duke and Emmie.

Mark 10:9“What God has bound together, let no man separate.”

As far as rumors go, this down-to-earth farm team has made it clear that you should never believe anything that isn’t confirmed on one of their personal outlets. May that be social media, the Magnolia Blog or straight from their mouths in an interview, the Gaineses are the only sources of truth when it comes to what they’re taking on next.

One thing is for certain—it isn’t divorce. And as Chip would confidently tell anyone, you can take that to the bank.
