The second half of the duo that makes up everything that is Magnolia, and HGTV’s hit show Fixer Upper, is a fan-favorite for ALL of the right reasons.
Not only does JoJo have perfect hair (literally, it’s perfect), but her eye for design and unique farmhouse-style-meets-modern aesthetic has people across the country dropping everything and moving to Waco.
But beyond the couple’s welcoming demeanor and goofball personalities, Chip and Joanna’s wild success is deeply rooted in their faith in Jesus Christ.

We know that when we put our hope and trust in Jesus Christ, there is no telling how He’ll use or bless us.
Of course, any time we step out and serve the Lord faithfully, Satan’s schemes are not far behind. So it’s no surprise that Chip and Joanna have often been the center of accusations, rumors and so-called controversy.
“At this point in our career we can honestly say, we’ve heard it all—from reports of us moving our family to Vegas to us having more or less children than we actually have. So remember, you can’t believe everything you read.”
This week, Joanna took to the Magnolia Blog to clear up the latest of chatter among the rumor mill: that she’s leaving Fixer Upper for her own endeavor in the world of cosmetics.

Sure, Joanna’s got her hands in about every bucket you could imagine: Reality star on a booming TV show, construction/home design company, retail shops, a bakery, best-selling book, lines of paint, rugs, furniture and Matilda Jane—and oh yeah, she’s a mama of FOUR growing babes! But she cleared the air on a few things last week:
“We are so thankful for your support—we wouldn’t be here without you! And just in case you were wondering, YES! We are currently filming season 5 of the show. No! I am not getting into the business of facial creams. And No! We are not expecting baby #5.”

Joanna says that they’ve learned “it’s impossible to control all of the information that’s out there.” She says that the best way for fans to determine what’s true and what’s not is by directing their attention to the Gaines’ official sites—the Magnolia Blog, Chip and Joanna’s Instagram, Twitter and Facebook Accounts, and through their personal newsletter.
“Always remember: If you’re reading big, exciting news about us, and we did not confirm it on our official sites, then proceed with caution.”
And as a courteous reminder, JoJo reminds us, “Don’t buy the facial cream, friends.”
