Justin Bieber Wants to “Live Like Jesus.” He Tells His Salvation Story in Breaking Interview!

In recent years, Justin Bieber’s track record has included everything from public urination charges to confiscated monkey scandals. He’s been arrested for drag-racing a red Ferrari in his yellow Lamborghini while intoxicated—and with an expired license. Need we go on? His bad boy image doesn’t need any help.

While the pop star’s high profile troubles surely make for an interesting story, it’s not the one we’re interested in. Now, he’s got a new message for you.

Though he’s been trying to publicly reboot his image for a while now, he’s only recently released the source of his recent redemption: Christianity.

He’s ready to take off the mask and show the world who he really is…and who he wants to be like.

I just wanna honestly live like Jesus,” said Bieber in an interview with Complex.

However, he affirms that religion is not the answer: “I’m not religious. I, personally, love Jesus and that was my salvation. I want to share what I’m going through and what I’m feeling and I think it shouldn’t be ostracized,” he said.

Bieber is tired of the religious box that society has placed God in. He told Complex, “I think that with Christians, they’ve left such a bad taste in people’s mouths. Just like, overly pushy with the subject, overly churchy and religious.” Instead he wants to unleash to the world what he believes to be true Christianity, and he’s not being quiet about.
