Despite his permanent reminder of this horrific night now buried in his neck, Jonathan knows he’s one of the “lucky ones.”
And like most of the selfless people who risked their own lives for others on Sunday, Jonathan doesn’t call himself a hero.
“I don’t see myself that way,” he said. “I would want someone to do the same for me. No one deserves to lose a life coming to a country festival.”
A GoFundMe Campaign has been set up by Jonathan’s sister-in-law to help the copy machine repairman with medical bills and living expenses until he can get back on his feet.
