And things really got interesting when the anti-Chick-fil-A post intended to advertise better options turned into a full-blown promotion for America’s favorite chicken chain.
Countless people made mention that the post made them crave Chick-fil-A for lunch, and they made haste to get their spot in the packed drive-thru.
“For those that keep saying that they are going to @ChickfilA for lunch…PLEASE REMEMBER that they also serve BREAKFAST,” urged one eager commenter who wanted to remind everyone that CFA doesn’t just do lunch. “Let’s not forget BREAKFAST CHICKEN needs to be eaten also.”
The masses emphatically agreed…
“Every time a New York liberal attacks @ChickfilA, the drive-thru line triples! But no worry, @ChickfilA professionals have outstanding customer service and they keep the line moving,” remarked one Chick-fil-A fan. “Delicious food, excellent service. Also, try the lemonade.”
And it seems the statistics back this up.
According to Forbes, Business Insider, and several other publications, Chick-fil-A is on track to be the third largest chain in America in 2019, up from their previous number seven ranking.
“Chick-fil-A is on track to become the third-largest chain in America — and McDonald’s and Wendy’s should be terrified,” Business Insider’s headline read in December.
“Chick-fil-A is taking over the fast-food industry,” BI reported. “The chicken chain is set to become the third-largest restaurant by [sales], according to Kalinowski Equity Research.”
With skyrocketing sales and new locations popping up everywhere, the Lord’s chicken clearly continues to rise in popularity in spite of backlash.
Now, who else is hungry for Chick-fil-A for lunch?
