Parents, It’s Your #1 Job to Get in Your Kids’ Way at All Times. Kids Do Not Deserve Privacy.

Steve Harvey Cries Out to God in His Struggles: “This Too Shall Pass. Trouble Don’t Last Always.”

Sometimes, we all just need a solid pep talk. One that prompts us to get back up, and keep moving forward on a day when we’d rather do anything but that.

It’s no secret that life can get you down. We live in a harsh world, with a lot of feelings, and a lot of troubles. That’s why Steve Harvey holds tight to his faith, and relies on God to see him through.

As he recounts in a message on his “Morning Inspiration” series:

“I spent a lot of years looking for comfort in a lot of other places. Peace of mind comes from having faith. Faith is believing in something even when you don’t have all the answers. It’s some things I’m going through right now. I don’t know how I’m going to get through them. But I do know that God will get me through them. Trouble don’t last always. I know that for a fact.”

Jesus Christ and our Faith in God is the only thing that can bring us out of the mess, and remove the junk that bogs down our daily life. Faith is believing in something even when you don’t know all the answers.

“A lot of times you’re having problems that you don’t have any control over…or sometimes you got some problems that just require some working out. But if the devil got you so focused on the problem, you don’t look at the outcome. And the outcome that you’re looking for is the hopefulness, the faith part that allows you to go ahead and settle down and deal with everything—knowing that God’s gonna make it alright. Knowing that, you will get through this. Knowing that, this too shall pass. Trouble don’t last always.”

Steve Harvey goes on to explain that even he’s marching through seemingly impossible trials. He doesn’t see the way out, but his knowing that God is with him brings him peace, and the ability to press on.

“It’s some things I’m going through right now, I don’t really know how I’m going to get through them. But I do know that God will get me through them. I do know that He will give me whatever is necessary to either come out of it, through it, around it or just deal with it better. I know that for a fact, so that allows me to have peace.”

It’s just the reminder we all could use today, and every day—God’s got this, so you don’t have to.
