Steve’s Harvey’s 7 Kids Make Surprise Confessions On-Air That Leave Mom & Dad Weeping Tears of Joy

Steve Harvey has been a household name since the late 1980s. His signature ‘stache and comedic talents have put a smile on people’s faces for decades. His deep faith in God, strong family values and love for people are the qualities that make him one TV personality we just can’t get enough of.

So you can imagine his kids probably feel the same way too—I mean who wouldn’t want to be around this contagious funny-man every chance they get?

For his birthday, Steve’s wife, Marjorie, and their blended household of seven children, surprised him on his talk show with a birthday gift he won’t soon forget.

Karli, Brandi, Morgan, Broderick, Jason, Lori and Wynton all shared their favorite memories of their father.

From Christmas morning traditions to father-daughter wedding dances, everyone shared a brief glimpse into growing up in the Harvey household. Each expressed the deep love and gratitude they have for their dad/stepdad, Steve Harvey.

Steve was taken back by the heartfelt confessions of his kids, and also shocked at the fact that they were able to dig up photos from a time before camera-phones!

By the time each of the kids shared their favorite dad-moments, the whole family was in tears. But there was one last person who wanted to confess her love for the comedian—that was his wife, Marjorie.

Tearing up herself, Marjorie relived the moment she knew Steve was the one for her.

“I told my father years ago that I was truly looking for man like [him], because I had an example [of how a husband should act] in my house… One day I came home and I said, ‘Daddy, I finally found him.’ And he said, ‘You think so?’ And I said, ‘I know so!”

Steve responded to the surprise by saying this was his best TV-moment, and dedicating his career to the ones who matter to him most—the family who has loved and supported him through thick and thin.

Harvey says his only desire for his career is for his kids to always know that he’s always cared more about them he does himself. And he wants them to love someone else more than they love themselves.

The emotional clip ends with Steve telling his kids that he’s “very proud” to be their father.

All the praise for Steve Harvey and his family for putting God first, loving each other always, and showing how blended families can find success and work in even the most difficult circumstances.
