“Chunky” Wife Reveals How Her Perfectly Fit Husband Really Feels About Her Body in Viral Post

When it comes to loving ourselves, cherishing our bodies and celebrating our appearance, most women are admittedly bad at it. In fact, many of us do exactly the opposite.

Satan loves to speak lies about how we aren’t good enough, how society does’t approve of anything bigger than a size 4, how “ugly” our stretch marks are, or how plain we look without makeup on. Lies upon lies upon lies.

An Instagram user named Jazzy is taking the Internet by storm and putting an end to those lies this week with a photo of her and her husband that shares the story of how she came to love the skin she’s in.

Holding hands on the beach, Jazzy and her husband radiate pure joy.

“Over the years this man has loved every curve, every roll and every stretch mark on my body. I never understood why!”

Instagram

“How could he love something that isn’t ‘perfect’? How could a man who was ‘born fit’ love someone like me? I don’t have a flat stomach, I jiggle when I walk, [heck], if I run up the stairs too fast my body claps!

But now I see I do have the ‘perfect’ body!! Every roll, every curve and every stretch mark is put on me just perfect to make both of us happy!!! I love my body and I finally see why he does too!!”

And this isn’t the first time that Jazzy has used her Instagram posts as a platform to encourage women. In an earlier caption, she wrote,

“Don’t judge a book by its cover. Just because someone is chunky doesn’t mean they are not fit! I can hike, run, walk and lift weights possibly better then a ‘fit’ looking person can! Who a person is and what a person is capable of shouldn’t be measured by the size of their body!”

Throughout the Bible, scripture tells us that beauty and adoration are only as good as the things within. A flat stomach, perfectly highlighted hair, eyelash extensions and a 24-inch waist are standards set by this world. Not by God.

Jazzy’s post is proof that beauty standards don’t stand a chance against true, radiant confidence in the body and person that God PERFECTLY created you to be.
