“Abortion is the leading cause of death among black Americans and the ultimate form of racism.” https://t.co/2v09HGZtVg

“I do know that blacks kind of represent a large portion of the abortions, and I do know that honestly the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks,” said Watson. “And it’s kind of ironic that it’s working.”
He’s referring to the more than 19 million black children that have been aborted in America since the passing of Roe v. Wade in 1973.
“For every 1,000 black babies born alive, there are 1,100 aborted each year in New York City,” said Ryan Bomberger of the Radiance Foundation. “The black community is the only community where there are more induced deaths than births.”
For Watson, change has to start within those communities, because right now, they’re part of the problem that is Planned Parenthood.
“We (as minorities) support candidates, and overwhelmingly support the idea of having Planned Parenthood and the like, and yet, that is why she created it. We are buying it hook, line and sinker,” he said.
The second part of the problem, according to Watson, is that Christians shy away from speaking truth about the matter.
In reference to many of his peers in the NFL, Watson says some players “are believers or have views that I agree with, but they don’t want to talk about it in a public forum. One-on-one they’ll talk about it, but Twitter, Facebook or authoring a book about a polarizing topic? They don’t want to touch it.”
Watson has received a lot of backlash for his bold comments, but he refuses to back down and stay quiet just because his peers have. He may be under fire for taking a stance, but nothing will change his passion to fight for life.
For if he won’t, WHO will?
He believes society has lost touch with “learning how to respectfully disagree with each other.”
Off of the football field, Watson’s fight for supporting the most vulnerable of God’s children is a top priority.
“To me, being pro-life means that you hold all life very dear and you understand that all life was created by God and that because of that, life has internal, intrinsic value, whether it’s capable of living on its own at that point or whether it is capable of living on its own at the end of its life,” Watson said.
After disturbing undercover videos surfaced exposing Planned Parenthood’s dismembering process, and the selling of unborn baby body parts, Watson addressed the issue with this powerful statement:
“As horrific as it is, the issue isn’t really the sale of human parts. It’s the legal practice that allows this to even be a possibility. Killing children and simply discarding the leftovers is not any more acceptable than profiting off of them.”
Planned Parenthood locations are notoriously found in low-income neighborhoods that are often home to a wide population of minorities. It’s because of this that Watson is taking a stand, and acknowledging that the organization’s goal of eliminating blacks is “working.”
